Wi-Fi to be made available city-wide in Amsterdam

Swedish startup Instabridge announced that the Randstad area in Amsterdam will be equipped 300 free Wi-Fi hotspots which can accessed without entering passwords.

“Finding and using Wi-Fi has not changed for the past ten years. Our goal with Instabridge is to get people connected to quality Wi-Fi networks more easily and more often” said Niklas Agevik, CEO of Instabridge.

The Instabridge app will already contain pre-configured information with the 300 hotspots in the city so users will not have to enter any passwords in order to connect. The start-up recently won the Best International Startup Award at this past LAUNCH Festival in San Francisco.
